Dr. Peter Averkiou is a pediatrician and an Associate Professor of Pediatrics at the Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University.He is the Co-Director of the four Foundations of Medicine Courses, the Director of the Service Learning Projects, the Director of the Newborn Nursery Clinical Rotation and the Director of the Synthesis and Transition Course at the medical school.

Dr. Ian James Martins is a distinguished researcher and academic at Edith Cowan University (ECU) in Australia, specializing in biochemistry, neurodegenerative diseases, and nutritional therapies. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Biochemistry from The University of Western Australia, awarded in 1987 . Dr. Martins' research focuses on the role of diet and nutrition in aging, diabetes, and neurodegenerative diseases, particularly Alzheimer's disease. His work has led to over 150 publications, contributing significantly to the understanding of metabolic dysfunction and the development of chronic diseases . Ms. Katarzyna A. Urbanska, MSc, RN is a specialist in neonatal nursing and healthcare management. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing and Human Resource and currently working on PhD at the Medical University of Silesia. Her research focuses on perinatal palliative care, neonatal nursing, and the psychological well-being of nurses and midwives. She has co-authored multiple scientific publications and book chapter neonatal care, ethics, and healthcare organization. A member of the Polish Society of Neonatal Nurses and Midwives, she actively contributes to advancing neonatal and perinatal care standards.

Dr. Mihail Lucian Birsa is currently a Professor in the Department of Chemistry at the Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. In 2003 he was selected as a member of the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, working with Professor Henning Hopf in TU Braunschweig - Germany. Since then numerous return fellowships were granted by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation. Dr. Laura Gabriela Sarbu is currently an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Alexandru Ioan Cuza University of Iasi, Romania. She received a Ph.D. degree in Organic Chemistry in 2015. During the Ph.D. program she joined several times the Prof. dr. Henning Hopf research team in TU Braunschweig – Germany. She has more than 55 publications in peer-review journals and published 4 books.
